Do you want to stay in the mountains but not be stranded amongst crowds of other
Glacier Park visitors? Looking for a welcoming place to escape your everyday fast-paced
Our guest cabin retreat is smack up against the western side of Glacier National
Park. The Northwest side of the park is less developed. You’ll stay in an area
giving you more of a wilderness experience than the front country lodging
located in and around most of the park.
Don't be surprised if you see bear (black bear or grizzly),
moose, elk, mountain lion or wolves while enjoying
your base camp at Polebridge Ranch.
Tucked away in the untamed North Fork valley Polebridge Ranch is located nine miles
north of the Camas Road entrance to Glacier National Park ...and about five miles
before the Polebridge Ranger Station entrance in an area called ..the "North Fork".
Other lodging accommodations in the North Fork can be either very rustic
(old, breezy, hard to access, outhouse, no water, feel like you are living with other
or can be quite taxing on your vehicle to access.
The North Fork Road north and beyond us tends to become a safari all its own.
It can be fun but if you plan to venture there make sure the vehicle you are driving
is properly equipped.
Polebridge Ranch is surrounded by Glacier National Park, Flathead National Forest
and State of Montana land. There isn’t much private land in the North Fork valley.
All of this is available to you yet our guest accommodations are easily accessible
from Glacier National Park via the Camas Road entrance to the park. Even better
your base camp is handy to great food, a full-service bar and great hospitality just
a short walk away at the Home Ranch Bottoms.
While Polebridge Ranch is located in the pristine North Fork valley,
(A valley that is essentially a wilderness with a road in it), a day trip to Logan
Pass, St. Mary, Many Glacier, Two Medicine or into Whitefish, Bigfork, Kalispell
and Columbia Falls is simply a scenic outing. Day trips around the park are far
more convenient from
Polebridge Ranch than from any other North Fork lodging option.
You get the best of Northwest Montana, a mountain retreat experience, wildlife sightings
and few people all in a cozy wilderness setting.
We offer charming accommodations at several levels.
